Below is our comprehensive policy outlining the deposits and additional fees that may apply to your stay. Rest assured, the total amount you see during booking is the final price—there are no hidden fees or surprises.


1. Guest Deposit Options

Option 1: Pre-Authorisation Hold

A deposit is collected through a secure pre-authorisation hold on your payment card via Stripe. This is a hold to ensure funds are available in case of damages, but no money is taken unless necessary.

  • No Damages: The pre-authorisation hold is released within 48 hours after checkout if no damages are found.
  • Damages: We will claim the necessary amount to cover repair or replacement costs. A 3% non-refundable processing fee applies to any claimed deposit.

Option 2: £25 Damage Waiver Fee

Alternatively, guests may choose to pay a £25 non-refundable damage waiver fee. This covers minor accidental damages that may occur during your stay but does not cover significant damages or loss.

  • Important: The damage waiver is not insurance, and guests remain liable for any major damages or negligence.

2. Additional Guest Fees

We want to ensure there are no surprises after booking. If your stay involves additional fees, such as for extra guests, linen, cleaning, or service charges, these will be included in the total cost at the time of booking.

This means the amount you pay during the booking process is the final amount owed—there will be no extra charges after your stay for these additional services.


3. Other Potential Fees

  • Service Fees: These administrative fees, if applicable, will be included in your total booking cost.
  • Linen Fees: Any charges for fresh linens or towels will be added to the booking total upfront.
  • Cleaning Fees: If a cleaning fee applies, it will be reflected in the total cost of the booking.
  • Guest Screening or Referencing Fees: For certain stays, a non-refundable screening or referencing fee may apply, and this too will be included in the booking price.
  • Extra Guest Fees: If your booking includes additional guests beyond the base occupancy, this will be clearly outlined and included in your booking total.

4. No Hidden Fees Promise

We want to be absolutely clear—the total amount displayed during the booking process is the final price you will pay. There will be no additional charges after the booking is confirmed. This ensures you have peace of mind, knowing that everything, from service fees to any extra guest charges, is accounted for upfront.

  • Secure Transactions: All payments are securely processed through Stripe.
  • Failed Authorisations: Ensure your card details are correct and sufficient funds are available to avoid failed authorisations.
